Two "Equestrian" Knives

Customer wanted 2 custom knives of similar design and size.  Their size is to make them more comfortable when worn on a belt while riding on horseback.

The first is for a friend of his family's who just finished his service in the Marines in the Middle East.  He is now going to train as a guide for the next 6 months in Montana.  His knife is made of W2 high carbon steel.  The blade is 3” long with an overall length of 6 3/4”.  The handle is stabilized Mesquite with peened copper pins and a copper lanyard tube. Best of luck to him on this next adventure.

The second if for the customer’s wife.  She is an avid equestrian.  It too is made of W2 with a 3” blade and overall length of 6 5/8”.  The handle is black and pink DewCarta (micarta) with peened 416 SS pins and lanyard tube. The blade is partially serrated at his request.

Both knives were individually forged by hand and hand finished.
